Thing #2: RSS



I've had an "igoogle" page for a while but I learned a lot of new things in this lesson.

I didn't know there were tabs to organize your page. So, now I have a tab for "Library Stuff" and a tab for "Fun Stuff" -- my favorite is my new virtual hamster!

Also, I had missed the "Add Feed or Gadget" link to easily add a blog to an "igoogle" page, so finding that makes it much easier to read my favorite blogs.



And, finally, I knew about Google Reader but hadn't tried it out. Now I have!

    It's easy! In iGoogle, click on "Add Stuff." In the "Search for Gadgets" box type in "hamster" and then click "Search."
